Victoria Virasingh ran as a Progressive for a Congressional seat in VA's 8th Congressional District in 2021-2022 .
I was brought on board early on to rebrand Victoria's campaign in addition to serving as the campaign's in house designer for all projects. For the rebrand, my aim was to create a new identity system that adequately represented Victoria, her identity, her beliefs, and her campaign – it was important to her that her brand highlight the fact that she is a Progressive, Indian, and Latina.

One of my initial points of focus when working on the campaign was a re-design of the website. Her very first website did not have strong calls to action and was not user friendly. I wanted to create something that appeared clean and vibrant, engaged viewers, and told a clear story. 

During my time with the campaign, I designed branding, a new website, merchandise, social media graphics, and print work that helped the campaign to successfully reach thousands of Northern Virginia voters, secure donations, endorsements, and newspaper ads, expand the voter base, and connect with first time voters.
