Neftali Ramos was a Democrat running for Philadelphia Sheriff. Neftali did not have any brand or promotional material when I was approached to create work and as such had an exciting amount of creative flexibility. In creating a brand, I wanted to step beyond what is typically represented in Sheriff races: traditional colors, more rigid typography, frequent use of iconography, etc. Neftali is a young Philadelphia native with an extensive background. I wanted to create a brand that felt fresh yet polished to help him stand out from others in the field.
