Collage Dance Collective, the largest Black ballet company in the South, "has worked to inspire the growth and diversity of ballet by showcasing a repertoire of relevant choreography and world-class dancers." I was asked to work on several projects for them, including designing promotional material for the company's 2023-24 season auditions, their 2023 summer intensive, and their Spring /Summer adult classes. As a dancer myself creating work for a dance company, I wanted these graphics to have movement and feel like they were dancing themselves. To do this, I took influence from the shapes present in their branding and tweaked them so that they interacted with the dancers' bodies in a way that felt like choreography.
